The Worrywart's Prayer Book, by Allia Zobel Nolan, is wise, fun, sometimes silly, quotable, and a great gift book. Zobel, whose previous best-sellers include Purr More, Hiss Less, Heavenly Lessons I Learned from my Cat, and Everything I Know about the Rat Race, I Learned from My Cat, has drawn on her own experience and her faith to produce some helpful life lessons in a portable format that's easy to pick up when you're facing a challenge. She covers everything from job worries to body image, including a combination of faith and common sense. The quotations included in each chapter are drawn from the Bible and other spiritual sources, but also contain such gems as The art of living is to enjoy what we can see and not complain about what remains in the dark and Dust protects the furniture. I've copied many of these to the Quotations pages on this website. This book, like Zobel's other titles, was published by HCI, and is also available at Amazon. Her website is great fun, and features many of her other books. She also blogs at: www.KittyLiterate.blogspot.com
